Calculate the final price after any discount percentage, check your savings, and verify whether the discounted price still keeps you profitable.

Use the Calculator

Formula & How It Works

Discounted Price

Discounted Price = Original Price × (1 − Discount % ÷ 100)
Savings = Original Price × Discount % ÷ 100

Discount % from Two Prices

Discount % = (Original Price − Sale Price) ÷ Original Price × 100

Margin After Discount (if cost is known)

Post-Discount Margin = (Discounted Price − Cost Price) ÷ Discounted Price × 100

Worked Example

Scenario: Original price ₹2,000, discount 25%, cost price ₹1,200.

Savings = ₹2,000 × 25% = ₹500

Discounted Price = ₹2,000 − ₹500 = ₹1,500

Margin After Discount = (₹1,500 − ₹1,200) ÷ ₹1,500 × 100 = 20%

You still make a 20% margin even after the 25% discount. If you had given 40% off, the price would be ₹1,200 — exactly your cost, giving zero margin.
